Managed Apple id and how to configure them on iPad

Apple provide 2 typology of apple id.
Standard apple ID (the one you can create or recover here)
Managed Apple ID (the one the school provide).

The main difference is that some services are disabled on managed apple id
  1. iTunes Store purchasing
  2. Book Store purchasing
  3. HomeKit connected devices
  4. Apple Pay
  5. Find My iPhone
  6. Find My Mac
  7. Find My Friends
  8. iCloud Mail
  9. iCloud Keychain (although, keychain items are saved and restored on Shared iPad devices)
  10. iCloud Family Sharing
  11. FaceTime (this is off by default, but your institution can turn it on)
  12. iMessage (this is off by default, but your institution can turn it on)
  13. Because Managed Apple IDs can't make purch

We provide students only a managed apple id, that is used mainly to maintain apple classroom on iPads and Macs.

Teachers receive a managed apple id and should create a standard apple id by themselves to access the store and all the services.

On iPad is it possibile to configure both the apple id following the steps in the two guide below
